Yes. Nursing is available as a clinical support under Support at Home. Participants do not pay a participant contribution for approved clinical supports. Access to nursing still depends on your aged care assessment, approved support needs and service availability.
GNA requires registered and enrolled nurses delivering nursing care to hold current AHPRA registration and work within their professional scope. Speak with our team if you need nursing experience suited to a particular clinical requirement.
Yes. You can discuss privately funded nursing care with GNA Services without relying on Support at Home approval. Nursing may also be available through CHSP for eligible older people, while eligible veterans may access DVA Community Nursing subject to program requirements and referral.
Where clinically appropriate and with your consent, our nurses can communicate relevant observations and care information to your GP or other treating healthcare professionals to support coordinated care.
