Guardian Nursing Agency (GNA Services) is a registered Support at Home provider helping eligible older Australians organise approved in-home aged care around their needs, goals and routines. Depending on your assessment and support plan, services may include nursing, personal care, independence support and everyday living assistance. GNA is currently listed by My Aged Care for Support at Home delivery through registered locations in Western Australia and New South Wales.
Support at Home is the Australian Government's aged care program that replaced Home Care Packages from November 2025. It provides funding to help older Australians access care and support services in their own home.
The program offers 8 classification levels based on your assessed needs, with quarterly budgets that give you flexibility and control over how your funding is used.
Support at Home organises services into three categories. Your funding can be used flexibly across these based on your needs.
Professional health services with no client contribution required.
Help with personal care and daily activities to maintain your independence.
Support to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Your funding level is determined by a Government assessment based on your care needs. Higher levels provide more funding for greater care requirements. Download our full price guide for a complete breakdown of all 8 classification levels and what they cover.
Support at Home funding amounts are set and indexed by the Australian Government and may change. Check current My Aged Care information when comparing funding amounts.
Under Support at Home, most clients pay a contribution towards their care (except for clinical services which are 100% government funded). Your contribution depends on your income and assets assessment.
Lower contributions, typically around 5% of your funding.
Moderate contributions based on your income assessment.
Higher contributions, up to 17% depending on your means.
Important: There are lifetime and annual caps on how much you'll pay. No one pays more than they can afford.

Support at Home is the Australian Government's current in-home aged care program. It commenced on 1 November 2025 and replaced the Home Care Packages Program and Short-Term Restorative Care Programme. It uses eight ongoing classifications with quarterly budgets and also includes three short-term pathways for specific needs. The Commonwealth Home Support Programme remains a separate program, with its transition to Support at Home planned no earlier than 1 July 2027.
Eligibility is determined through an aged care assessment. You may be able to access an assessment if you have aged care needs and are generally 65 or over, 50 or over if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or 50 or over and homeless or at risk of homelessness. Your assessment determines whether Support at Home is suitable and which services may be approved.
There is no single approval or funding timeframe that applies to everyone. Assessment and funding allocation are separate stages, and ongoing Support at Home funding is allocated through a priority system based on factors including your priority category and approval date. My Aged Care can provide guidance on your individual status.
Tell our team about your existing care arrangements and preferences when discussing a change of provider. We aim to support continuity where practical, but retaining a particular care worker depends on factors such as availability, employment or contracting arrangements and your service requirements, so it cannot be guaranteed.
Speak with your provider if your health, daily living needs or circumstances change. Your care arrangements can be reviewed, and where your current approval no longer reflects your needs, a Support Plan Review or reassessment may be requested. Any change to your approved classification or funding remains subject to the relevant assessment and approval process.
